Performance Report about MimoWork Acrylic Laser Cutter 1325

Introduction

As a proud member of the production department from an acrylic production company in Miami, I present this performance report on the operational efficiency and outcomes achieved through our CO2 Laser Cutting Machine for Acrylic Sheet, a key asset provided by Mimowork Laser. This report outlines our experiences, challenges, and successes over the past two years, highlighting the machine's impact on our acrylic production processes.

Operational Performance

Our team has been working diligently with the Flatbed Laser Cutter 130L for nearly two years. Throughout this period, the machine has demonstrated commendable reliability and versatility in handling a variety of acrylic cutting and engraving tasks. However, we did encounter two notable instances that warrant attention.

Operational Incident 1:

In one case, an operational oversight led to the suboptimal configuration of the exhaust fan settings. As a result, unwanted fumes accumulated around the machine, affecting both the working environment and acrylic output. We promptly addressed this issue by fine-tuning the air pump settings and implementing proper ventilation measures, allowing us to swiftly resume production while maintaining a safe working atmosphere.

Operational Incident 2:

Another incident arose due to a human error involving maximum power output settings during acrylic cutting. This resulted in acrylic sheets with undesirable uneven edges. In collaboration with Mimowork's support team, we efficiently identified the root cause and received expert guidance on optimizing the machine's settings for flawless acrylic processing. Subsequently, we achieved satisfactory results with precise cuts and clean edges.

Productivity Enhancement:

The CO2 Laser Cutting Machine has significantly elevated our acrylic production capabilities. Its large working area of 1300mm by 2500mm, combined with the robust 300W CO2 Glass Laser Tube, enables us to efficiently handle diverse acrylic sheet sizes and thicknesses. The mechanical control system, featuring Step Motor Drive and Belt Control, ensures precise movement, while the Knife Blade Working Table offers stability during cutting and engraving operations.

Operational Scope

Our primary focus lies in working with thick acrylic sheets, often involving intricate cutting and engraving projects. The machine's high maximum speed of 600mm/s and acceleration speed ranging from 1000mm/s to 3000mm/s allow us to accomplish tasks quickly without compromising on precision and quality.

Conclusion

In summary, the CO2 Laser Cutting Machine from Mimowork has seamlessly integrated into our production operations. Its consistent performance, versatile capabilities, and professional support have contributed to our success in delivering high-quality acrylic products to our clients. We look forward to further leveraging this machine's potential as we continue to innovate and expand our acrylic offerings.

More Acrylic Information of Laser Cutting

laser cut clear acrylic

Not all acrylic sheets are suitable for laser cutting. When choosing acrylic sheets for laser cutting, it's important to consider the thickness and color of the material. Thinner sheets are easier to cut and require less power, while thicker sheets require more power and may take longer to cut. Additionally, darker colors absorb more laser energy, which can cause the material to melt or warp. Here are some types of acrylic sheets suitable for laser cutting:

1. Clear Acrylic Sheets

Clear acrylic sheets are a popular choice for laser cutting because they allow for precise cuts and details. They also come in a variety of thicknesses, which makes them versatile for different projects.

2. Colored Acrylic Sheets

Colored acrylic sheets are another popular choice for laser cutting. However, it's important to note that darker colors may require more power and may not produce as clean of a cut as clear acrylic sheets.

3. Frosted Acrylic Sheets

Frosted acrylic sheets have a matte finish and are ideal for creating a diffused lighting effect. They are also suitable for laser cutting, but it's important to adjust the laser settings to prevent the material from melting or warping.
